Welcome to the latest Stakeholder Bulletin from Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC).
This bulletin covers:

The Electricity Settlements Company (ESC) is required to publish a register of supplier credit cover defaults “the credit default register” in relation to regulation 30(4) from The Electricity Capacity Regulations 2014. This can be found here.
In addition, ESC has also published the Capacity Market Non-Payment Register which can be found here.
LCCC and EMRS hosted the ‘Introduction to EMR arrangements’ event on 18 May 2017. This event introduced new Suppliers to both Contracts for Difference (CFD) and the Capacity Market (CM). Materials from the event can be found here.
Low Carbon Contracts Company (‘LCCC’) is pleased to announce that Burbo Bank Extension Offshore Wind Farm, located off the coast of Liverpool Bay, started generation under the CFD contract on 11 April 2017. The full issued press release can be found here.
Welcome to the latest Stakeholder Bulletin: Update - timeline for CFD Allocation Round 2 from Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC).
This bulletin covers:

LCCC and ESC will be holding an event for Suppliers in Central London on 10 May 2017.
The event will run from 0900 and will conclude mid-afternoon, including an opportunity for lunch and networking. Presentations will be delivered on the both Contracts for Difference (CFD) and Capacity Market schemes.
If you are a Supplier you are invited to RSVP to indicate your interest in attending by Wednesday 26 April by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
On Thursday 1 December 2016, the CFD Allocation Round 2 was officially launched, to a capacity crowd at the Amba Hotel in Charing Cross. The day was co-hosted by LCCC, National Grid and BEIS and included a range of presentations providing an overview of the CFD scheme.
Following the success of the event, LCCC are pleased to share the materials from the day.
Please note the CFD Implementation Plan Version 2 (dated 5 December) contains edits to two of the milestones in the 30 November version:
Item 18 - Date has changed from 16 May 2017 to 15 May 2017;
Item 26, 4th column - Date has changed from 5 May 2017 to 25 May 2017

Today the department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has published its plans for the Second CFD Allocation Round which will award new low carbon contracts to successful generators. The Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) has accordingly published a CFD Booklet aimed at providing an overview of the scheme for applicants, in collaboration with our key delivery partner National Grid. We have also updated our guidance on Minor & Necessary Modifications to assist generators preparing for the Round and will be holding a joint launch event with BEIS and delivery partners on 1 December 2016.
