Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) is delighted to announce that Wheelabrator Kemsley has started to receive payments under the project’s Contract for Difference (CfD). The combined heat and power facility (CHP) is the first energy-from-waste plant within the CfD portfolio to achieve its Operational Conditions Precedent (OCP), meaning the project has satisfied the eligibility criteria required to start generating electricity and receiving support under the CfD.
