Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) is delighted to announce that two onshore wind farms, Tralorg and Solwaybank, are the latest projects in the Contracts for Difference (CfD) portfolio to come online.
The 18.8MW Tralorg wind farm, located on the southwest coast of Scotland, was acquired by RPMI Railpen in 2019, one of the UK’s top five pension funds, from BayWa r.e. in 2019. The 30MW Solwaybank wind farm in Dumfries and Galloway is owned by The Renewables Infrastructure Group Limited (TRIG), a leading London-listed renewable energy infrastructure investment company, and the project is managed by RES, the world’s largest independent renewable energy company.
