ESC, EMR Settlement Limited (EMRS) and National Grid are due to conduct an end-to-end Mock Stress Event for the Capacity Market. The objective of the test will be to validate the interactions between Capacity Provider data, our published Capacity Market processes and the subsequent settlement calculations.
To support the Mock Stress Event test, we would like to make Capacity Providers aware of the following activities and dates:
- ESC has pre-recorded a MSE webinar with National Grid and EMRS to provide more information on the Mock Stress Event. You can view this webinar on the above links.
- ESC and National Grid plan to publish the Mock Stress Event Settlement Periods on 30 April 2018, following which non-BMU Capacity Providers should submit their data as per the timescales communicated in the webinar.
