The LCCC and ESC board is collectively responsible for the long term success of the company and is ultimately responsible for its strategy, management, direction and performance. The board sets the company’s strategic aims, ensures that the necessary financial and human resources are in place for the company to meet its objectives, reviews progress towards the achievement of objectives and reviews the performance of management. The board establishes the values, culture, ethics and standards of the company and sets the framework for prudent and effective controls which enables risk to be assessed and managed.
