Electricity Settlements Company (ESC) has published its Annual Performance Report for 2020, which can be downloaded via the button on this page. As the appointed Settlement Body for the Capacity Market (CM), the Electricity Settlements Company (ESC) must, in accordance with regulations, produce an annual report on the performance of its functions in respect of each capacity year.
This annual performance report covers the capacity year starting on 1 October 2019 and ending on 30 September 2020. As such, the report covers the end of the standstill period of 15 November 2018 to 25 October 2019, the successful restart of the CM scheme in October 2019, and the UK-wide lockdown due to Covid-19.
