The Electricity Settlements Company are working with our delivery partners, EMR Settlement Limited and National Grid ESO on the Capacity Market (CM) Stress Event Testing programme for 2020 and 2021. We recognise the importance of operational effectiveness of all CM activities, particularly those related to CM Stress Events.
Our testing programme is based primarily on lessons learned from the mock Stress Event exercise carried out in 2018. As such, we are keen to gather feedback from Capacity Providers on the proposals for the remainder of 2020 and beyond. Capacity Providers have been invited to provide feedback on the programme by completing this survey or by emailing info@electricitysettlementscompany.uk by 24 July 2020.
