LCHA Milestone Requirement Guidance

The "Milestone Requirement Guidance" provides instructions for Producers on fulfilling the Milestone Requirement under the LCHA via either the “10% spend” route or “Project Commitments” route.

Key Points

  1. Requirements: Producers must provide evidence that they have either spent at least 10% of the Total Project Pre-Commissioning Costs, or that they have fulfilled the Project Commitments set out in the LCHA. Producers may also have additional project-specific requirements as outlined in Annex 3 of the LCHA Front-End Agreement.
  2. Timeline: The Milestone Requirement must be satisfied by the Milestone Delivery Date: 12 months (for Electrolytic Facilities) or 18 months (for CCUS-Enabled Facilities) after the LCHA Agreement Date.
  3. Submission: All required documents must be submitted via LCCC's web-based application, Zero.
