Private Network Agreement - Generator Guidance

This is new LCCC guidance on the CfD Private Network Agreement for Generators. This guidance is for Generators not connected to the Total System, or which are only partially connected to the Total System.
The guidance covers:
- Connection Types and Contract Templates: It details the different connection types—Direct, Private Network, and Partial—and the corresponding contract templates. The guidance emphasizes the importance of selecting the correct contractual route and the implications of connection changes on CfD eligibility and payments.
- Metering and Documentation Requirements: The document specifies the metering requirements for different types of Generators, such as Islanded and Hybrid Generators, and the necessary documentation for demonstrating compliance with the CfD scheme’s operational conditions.
- Facility Connection Changes: It addresses the procedures and implications of changing the electrical setup of a Generating Facility, including the impact on ongoing CfD eligibility, payments, and the contractual relationship with the Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC).
